Once the completed form is received, we will contact you with 24 hours to confirm availability, next steps to confirm booking, hire costs and bank account for payments.

This booking form is for all whanau and

community organisations.*

HIRE COSTS:

WEEKEND HIRE RATE: $400.00
From 12PM FRIDAY - SUNDAY PM

12 HOUR MARAE HIRE $100.00 (Full Day)
24 HOUR MARAE HIRE $200.00 (Overnight)

MEETING HIRE: Less than a half day, by Koha

HIRE COSTS INCLUDE:

Included in hire cost is use of the whare hui, whare kai, ablutions, power, gas and water.  Sheets and pillow cases, mattresses.

ADDITONAL TO HIRE COSTS:  Additional costs will be invoiced to the hirer after the booking.

-  Laundering of linen and tea towels

-  Removal of rubbish from the marae and urupa

-  Any breakages or damage will be an additional cost

HIRE COSTS DO NOT INCLUDE:

Hirer expected to supply their own cleaning liquids, toilet paper, rubbish bags.  An initial supply of cleaning and toilet paper, rubbish bags will be supplied.

KOHA is in addition to the Hire Costs. 

The amount of KOHA is up to the whanau and is expected.




Your booking is only confirmed once you've paid a refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking cost.

The Parawhenua Marae Account Number:  12-3091-0207317-00 include your name as the reference when you make a deposit.


If there is a hui mate (death), this will take priority over your booking and you will have to be prepared to move your booking to another date or place. Your deposit will be refunded if you need to cancel this booking.

 

*All corporate businesses, funded hui/wananga (including whanau bookings), local and central government organisation, hire costs are by negotiation with the booking officer.
