Young Engineers Winter 2019
Throughout the program, we will provide your children with a fun and enriching science program. We strive to mold the engineers of the future using the old and familiar LEGO® blocks. Each lesson will begin with the study of a principle of physics, mathematics and mechanical engineering through experiments and stories. We will then go on to implement the principle using original and motorized LEGO Bricks models that the children will build. This term will feature the Bricks Challenge, in which Classical Mechanics are explored.
Our award-winning curriculum has been found to improve performance in school! Each Young Engineers class begins with a theoretical explanation of the day's engineering principle. Our students then build a motorized LEGO® model that lets them see the science come to life!
Additional Program Values Include: Encouraging independent and creative thinking a Developing problem-solving abilities Learning the general laws of physics and natural phenomena a Encouraging self-reliance and proper time management Promoting communication and interpersonal skills.
