Farmer's Market Educational Field Day

Please join us on April 15th 8am for this educational workshop that focuses on Farmer's Markets and organizing community events.  We will take an indepth look at a Farmer's Market as a direct marketing strategy for farmers, ranchers and local crafts people.  Participants will learn about organizing a market, recruiting and selecting vendors, tips on marketing and selling self/farm produced products.  Vendors and market staff will be available to answer questions.  A follow up hands-on educational opportunity will be held on May 19th-20th where participants will have an opportunity to join a farm crew as they prepare for a market.  Then on Sunday, May 20th, participants will have a chance to set up with local vendors for the day to see how a vendor's booth is run.

Coffee and breakfast will be made availible. Food trucks will be on site 4/15 and 5/20 to pruchase lunch.
