Regular Basis Availability
Please indicate your anticipated weekly availability. Please note the History Center's normal business hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. Opportunities may be available on other times, based on department need.
Clearances
To ensure the safety of History Center visitors and collections, some departments may require a criminal background check an/or child abuse clearance. Please indicate below if you have obtained clearances for other volunteer, work or educational purposes.

Understanding of Volunteer Status
I, the undersigned, understand the following:
- Volunteers are not considered employees for any purpose, and that this application is for volunteer placement only.
- Volunteer placement is a selection process and not all applicants are accepted.
- The York County History Center reserves the right to place me in the area best suited to my skill and the needs of the History Center.
- I am free to accept or refuse any volunteer placement offered to me.
- Volunteer placement may require a criminal background check and/or child abuse clearance.
- I will inform the York County History Center of any limitations that may prevent me from performing the placement.
