A lamp blows in one of your general cover lights during a show. What do you do?
A) Wait for the end of the show then change it.
B) Tell the duty manager.
C) Try to bring up another light that does a similar job then change it at the end of the show.
D) Pause the show until you can fix it.
2. You miss one of the sound cues in a show you are operating. What should you do?
A) Play the cue as soon as you realise your mistake.
B) Wait to see if there is another appropriate moment in the show to play it.
C) Play the cue as soon as you realise your mistake but at a lower volume than it normally should be.
D) Forget the mistake and concentrate on the rest of the show.
3. You notice an audience member is filming the play you are operating and front of house haven’t yet realised. What should you do?
A) Sneak to the front of the auditorium and and tell the usher so they can deal with it.
B) Tap the audience member on the shoulder and ask them quietly to stop.
C) Don’t worry about it. This is a front of house matter.
D) At the end of the show tell the usher and stop the person as they leave. Ask them to delete the film.
