The Women's & Children's Hospital Memorial Scholarship was created to memorialize those past employees who left us from this world early in life. Their many contributions to the culture of care at Women's & Children's Hospital will never be forgotten. The Women's & Children's Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 by Women's & Children's Hospital to provide funding for educational expenses of eligible students entering their senior year in the nursing program at ULL, SLCC, or LSUE. The one-time/single scholarship award of $500 will be awarded in the fall semester for students entering their senior year.
Scholarships are available to currently enrolled nursing students completing their junior year in the nursing program at ULL, SLCC, or LSUE. Students must have graduated high school from one of the 14 parishes in the Women's & Children's Hospital service area. These parishes include: Acadia, Allen, Avoyelles, Calcasieu, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, Rapides, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion, and Vernon.
