The City of West Hollywood is seeking musical performers and entertainers for the Helen Albert Certified Farmers’ Market Summer Entertainment Series this summer. Located at Plummer Park in the North Parking Lot, the Farmers’ Market operates on Mondays from 9am – 2pm with the exception of Memorial Day and Labor Day.
The entertainer(s) would be contracted to perform from 10 am – 1 pm and will be compensated $150 for the entire three (3) hour performance.
The market welcomes a variety of music genres, including jazz, bluegrass, country, folk, and world music for shoppers to enjoy on Mondays between June 3rd – August 26th.
The entertainer will be solely responsible for obtaining amplification or other equipment necessary for the performance and transporting said equipment to and from the performance location on the performance date. The entertainer is permitted to sell merchandise during the market they are performing at.
Once your application is received, you will be contacted on a first come, first serve basis. The Entertainer is required to submit the proper documents in a timely manner or is at risk of forfeiting their time slot.
The location of space allocated will vary and will be determined in the application evaluation process.
