Please know that your application will not process when you press the submit button unless you have checked both boxes, below. By checking the boxes you will be agreeing to the following: terms and conditions:
- That you have carefully reviewed the adoption application and have answered each question truthfully and completely to the best of your knowledge.
- That failure to complete this form in its entirety and/or knowingly omitting pertinent information may cause your application to be declined.
- That you understand this application is required in order to adopt a cat through Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue, but that submitting the completed application is not a guarantee that your adoption application will be approved; it is merely the first step in the adoption process.
- That you understand Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue is a group run exclusively by volunteers who donate their spare time, and, as such, the adoption process may take more than a week to complete.
- You agree that once the cat or kitten is formally adopted by you, all medical care is your responsibility
- Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue makes no statements or warranties regarding the pet’s future health, medical status, or temperament.
- Information will be provided to you by Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue as to the known health history of this animal. However, since the animals have been rescued, their past is usually unknown.
- In the event that Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue discovers the inhumane treatment of this pet, or breach of this contract, it is agreed that RL has the right to immediately reclaim possession of the pet.
- You agree that the cat/kitten you adopt will NOT be declawed
- You agree that adoption fees are non refundable
- You agree that the cat/kitten you adopt will not be permitted outdoors
