VBS Teen Volunteer Application
We are so excited for your interest in serving SMG's youngest disciples! By volunteering, you are making a commitment to share your Catholic faith.

All teens ages 14-17 are welcome to apply!

Applications must be submitted by June 2nd.

Teen volunteers must be available to work every day of VBS, including training, set-up, and tear-down. All should complete Teen Leader Training (if they have not already) prior to serving at VBS. (Teen Leader Training date TBD)

Please note, there is a $15 donation to volunteer in order to cover the cost of teen T-shirts.

Teen Volunteer Agreement
The SMG Vacation Bible School team is excited to serve with you!

Teen volunteers are role models for our young children. Therefore, it is important for all volunteers to understand the impact they have as they minister at VBS.

As a teen VBS volunteer, you agree:
- To abide by the Code of Conduct as established by the Diocese of Fort Worth, including the dress code and social media guidelines.
- To attend all mandatory training, set-up, and tear-down dates as a part of your service in this ministry.
- To put away your cell phone and other electronic devices during your time serving at VBS. The children attending VBS deserve our full attention and engagement.
- To serve in the area you are assigned to the best of your ability.
- To encourage the responsible behavior of the other VBS teen volunteers.
- To be respectful, courteous, and kind to all of the adults and teens you are ministering with.
My signature below means that I understand the importance of my volunteering as a teen role model to the children who attend Vacation Bible School. I am willing to serve in this ministry by mentoring and connecting with each child under my area of responsibility and will abide by the guidelines above.

Important Dates
VBS will take place at SMG June 23-27 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Teen volunteers must be available to arrive 30 minutes early, each day of VBS.

Teen volunteers are required to attend VBS set-up (June 22nd 2:00-8:00 PM) and take-down (June 27th following VBS), and the volunteer orientation meeting (June 17th 6:30 PM).
