- VOLUNTEER SHIRTS-We appreciate our volunteers and are so blessed that you have a heart to serve, and would like to give you a Volunteer shirt at a discounted rate with a recommended $8 donation. Your donation of cash can be put in the donation bucket at the VBS Volunteer Training. Volunteer shirts @ a discounted rate will only be available to those signed up before the training dates.   VBS KIDS PICK-UP SECTION
  
  Do you have any K-5th Grade VBS kids you are responsible picking up during VBS? If so, we need their names and grades so we can dismiss them to our Kid Zone during closing. This will be labeled and located at the back of the worship center for Volunteer's kids to go during dismissal so that you can finish your volunteer tasks and then pick them up.

  VBS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
  
  There are a variety of ways to volunteer your time in VBS 2026!
  
  VBS is taking place each morning, 9 a.m. - Noon, during the week of June 1-5 at South Rock Christian Church. Volunteers are required to attend one of the training meetings on Wed. May 27. If you are unable to attend, you must email Sarah or Abby to let them know ahead of time. Childcare is available for both trainings with an RSVP.

  VBS DECORATING OPPORTUNITIES
  
  We will be decorating the church throughout the week of May 26-29 from 8am to 8pm. WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP!! No special skills needed, we have a job for you!

  It’s not too late for adults and youth (6th grade and older) to sign up to volunteer, but we need to have you hear some important training details!
  
  Please plan to attend a special training session for those that couldn't make the original sessions. This special session will be Sunday, July 13 @ 10:30am in the Underground.

  BACKGROUND CHECK
  In order to create a safe place environment for all children we do require an up-to-date background check on ALL volunteers 18years and older. We will check to see if we have one on file for you so no need to do anything at this time. Marla Neely, SR Kids Admin, will reach out to you through email if we are in need of anything.
- Mini-VBS is ONLY open to children nursery through 5 years (not attending K in the fall) of VBS Volunteers on the days they are volunteering on site. Mini-VBS opens at 8:30 am and pick up no later than 12:30 pm.

  1. The Bible is the only inspired word of God, and it is complete, inerrant (in its original texts), and eternal.
  
  2. God, in His Word, represents Himself as unique and three persons in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  
  3. Jesus Christ, the one and only Son, became flesh by being born to a virgin, lived a perfect life, and was crucified as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.
