    We also have Volunteer Mini-VBS open ONLY to children of VBS Volunteers nursery-5yr olds not attending Kindergarten in the Fall AND only on the days that the VBS Volunteer is helping.

    • VOLUNTEER SHIRTS-We appreciate our volunteers and are so blessed that you have a heart to serve, and would like to give you a Volunteer shirt at a discounted rate with a recommended $8 donation.  Your donation of cash can be put in the donation bucket at the VBS Volunteer Training.  Volunteer shirts @ a discounted rate will only be available to those signed up before July 4th and who attend a required training on July 3rd. Please fill out your shirt size below on here and WE will order it for you so don't go through the merchandise link for your volunteer shirt.  Additional shirts for kids or those not volunteering can be purchased through the merchandise link in your confirmation.

    • Volunteer Information 

    • There are a variety of ways to volunteer your time in VBS 2024!

      VBS is taking place each morning, 9 a.m. - Noon, during the week of July 15-19 at South Rock Christian Church.  Volunteers are required to attend one of the training meetings on Wed. July 3rd.  If you are unable to attend, you must email Sarah or Abby to let them know ahead of time.  Childcare is available for both trainings with an RSVP. 

      You will be contacted with more details about helping in the ways metioned below!

    • VBS KIDS SECTION

      Do you have any K-5th Grade VBS kids you are responsible picking up during VBS?  If so, we need their names and grades so we can dismiss them to our Kid Corral during the  (closing).  This will be labeled and located at the back of the worship center for Volunteer's kids to go during dismissal so that you can finish your volunteer tasks and then pick them up.


    • TRAINING:

      It’s not too late for adults and youth (6th grade and older) to sign up to volunteer, but we need to have you hear some important training details!

    • Volunteer VBS Mini-VBS Registration 

    • Mini-VBS is ONLY open to children nursery through 5 years (not attending K in the fall) of VBS Volunteers on the days they are volunteering on site.  Mini-VBS opens at 8:30 am and pick up no later than 12:30 pm.

    • Statement of Faith and Practice 

      1.  The Bible is the only inspired word of God, and it is complete, inerrant (in its original texts), and eternal.

      2.  God, in His Word, represents Himself as unique and three persons in one:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

      3.  Jesus Christ, the one and only Son, became flesh by being born to a virgin, lived a perfect life, and was crucified as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.  He was buried, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He will return for His people.

      4.  All people are sinners.  A person must believe in Jesus Christ to be forgiven and have eternal life.

      5.  According to God's Word and the Kansas Constitution, marriage is only to be between one man & one woman.

       

      We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of South Rock Christian Church as the local Body of Christ, and to reflect the biblical truths to those attending, VBS it is imperative that all persons who serve in a leadership/teaching volunteer position agree to and abide by this Statement of Faith and Practice by signing below.
