· By acknowledging below and applying to be involved in North Surrey Handmade Market you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions and available the day of.

Acceptance:

The Market is a juried show. Submitting an application to the event does not guarantee acceptance. The event will judge admittance on how well the vendor will fit in with the event and originality of products. The event has the right to limit the number of vendors in a particular category or type. Vendors will be notified as soon as possible.

Payments:

The cost of North Surrey Handmade Market will be $50, along with any extras requested. If accepted full payment will be required. Vendors are required to provide payment by e-transfer. If payment is not received by the specified date, the spot will be immediately given to the next person on the waiting list.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancellation is received after acceptance and payment, there is no refund.

Abandonment or vacating of facilities:

I understand that the booth covered by this agreement cannot be sublet or shared; I also understand that if the booth is left vacant or is not used by myself or is vacated before the stated closing time of the event, the event may terminate this agreement by written notice whereupon my rights and privileges shall terminate.

Assignment and Use of Space:

One 2.5’x 6’ table and chair will be provided. Vendor must supply floor length table covering.

a) I understand and agree that the event will assign exhibit space at its reasonable discretion.

b) I acknowledge that the event reserves the right to reassign exhibit space or alter event layout at any time without notice.

c) I understand that the booth covered by this agreement cannot be sublet or shared.

d) I acknowledge that I must set up my booth at the specified time or I will be turned away from the event

e) I also understand that the booth cannot be vacated before the stated closing time of the event

Sales:

a) I understand that I am responsible for the collection of all applicable provincial sales tax(es)

b) I also acknowledge that the event is not responsible for my sales and if I do not meet my quota that it is not the event’s fault.

Marketing:

Marketing the event is a group effort. As a vendor, I will contribute to the promotion of the event through social media. I agree to let North Surrey Market use images from my online sites, social media, as well as photos taken of me and my booth, display and products on the day of the show for the use of marketing & promotion.

Marketing Prize:

On market day all vendors who attend must agree to gift 1 item of minimum $10 value for our marketing prize.

Facility Rules:

a) I shall comply with all rules and regulations of the facility in connection with the installation, use and dismantling of my exhibit.

b) I must not injure, deface or use any prohibited substance (e.g. double-sided tape) on the walls or floors of the building, the booths or the equipment of the booths. If such damage appears, I agree to be liable to the owner of the property so damaged.

c) Nothing may be pinned, nailed, stapled, or taped to any wall, ceiling, floor or column. Only green painter’s tape or string may be used to hang things. Decorations, including green tape and string, must be carefully removed at the end of the event.

d) Location: 14835 108A Ave, Surrey, B.C. Time of Market 10 am to 3 pm.

Communicable disease prevention plan requirements:

a) If you or anyone in your family feels sick stay home.

b) Bring sanitizer to sanitize POS devices after each use.

1) I understand that the event and the organizers are not responsible for stolen or damaged merchandise while I am a vendor at the event.

2) I understand that the event and the organizers are not responsible or liable for any injuries or accidents on site, transporting or removing of products.

3) I am responsible for notifying the customer of potential health hazards surrounding my products, i.e. allergies pertaining to ingredients

4) I am responsible for obtaining insurance for my work.

5) The goods I am selling will be considered low risk, if the products are high risk I must obtain the proper papers and have them readily available if requested by Heath Authorities and by third parties.

I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY NORTH SURREY HANDMADE MARKET & ECOLE RIVERDALE ELEMENTARY PAC FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY OR EXPENSE TO ANY THIRD PARTY, RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE VENDING AREA. BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE.
