The cost for birth photography at Missouri Baptist Medical Center with Alexandria Mooney Photography is $899. This includes labor & delivery (birth) coverage.
You have the option to either pay in full or setup a payment plan with Alexandria Mooney Photography. All payments (single or payment plan) must be made prior to delivery.
Your delivery must take place at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Labor & Delivery.
As the client you are responsible for clearing birth photo coverage with your provider and making sure they are onboard with having a photographer in your delivery, whether it be in a delivery room or an OR for a (scheduled/unscheduled) c-section. If your birth is a scheduled/unscheduled c-section, the photographer from Alexandria Mooney Photography's Birth Stories team is your second support person (so you are still able to have your significant other in the OR in addition to the photographer).
Your birth will be photographed by head photographer Alex Mooney, or if she's unavailable, an experienced birth photographer from Alexandria Mooney Photography's birth team. Please click here to see the team of photogs and their bios.
You understand that you must follow the directions (outlined here) in contacting Alexandria Mooney Photography on the progress of your pregnancy and any onset of labor signs/symptoms as well as any (if applicabable) scheduled induction dates and/or c-section dates. It is imperative that communication is given often and early with Alexandria Mooney Photography so that we can be accommodate the photographing of your birth story. You must account for one hour of travel time for the photographer from the time of your call for the photographer to come to the hospital and her arrival there.
You understand that Alex Mooney/a member from Alexandria Mooney Photography's birth team will need up to an hour to get to Missouri Baptist Medical Center to document your birth. You understand that 'acts of nature' may occur (on either the photographer and/or client's side) and your birth story may not be able to be documented. In those special instances, full refunds will be issued for the prepayment of your birth story package.
You reserve the right as the client to call the shots. The birth photographer will follow your guide and direction as to where you would like her and what you'd like to happen. The birth photographer tries to remain invisible in the room yet still achieve the shots you desire.
The hospital's medical staff has the right to shut down photography during a birth at any point. If there presents an emergent situation or another instance in which photography must cease, the birth photographer will follow the directions of the staff and that overrides the birth photographer's coverage in this contract. The birth photographer works directly with the hospital staff and follow any leads and directions they give her to best accommodate you in your birth experience and documentation of your birth story.
You understand that flash will not be used to capture your birth story. The birth stories team is a big proponent of keeping your birth space as is, so your photos will document your story as it was. If the room is dark, your pictures will reflect that. We don't believe in using flash to disrupt your laboring/birthing experience, therefore it will not be used. You understand that if you labor/deliver/recover/postpartum in a dark envirornment your photos will reflect that to tell your birth story just as it was in real life.
You will receive all edited photos (in both color and black and white) via digital album (Pixieset) within a week of your birth -- you will be given a photo release form as well as a printing tips info sheet along with your pictures. In addition to receiving your digital images, you will also have the ability to purchase prints from Alexandria Mooney Photography as well. You are not authorized to crop, edit, colorize, alter, or throw an Instagram/Snapchat filter (or other photo editor program/app filter) over the images in which I give you; if you need further adjustments made, please contact me at hello@alexandriamooneyphotography.com and we can discuss this.
Alexandria Mooney Photography retains full copyrights to all images taken at your session. You will receive print rights to your images but copyrights will always remain with Alexandria Mooney Photography. In addition, RAW photos will never be given; only edited photos are provided by Alexandria Mooney Photography.
*Please note: your birth gallery expires 2 weeks from your image delivery date. You must purchase/download your images within that window. If you do not, your gallery will be archived/deleted. There will be a $30 gallery re-listing fee if you need your images to be made available again after the 2 week window.
