Applicants must complete and submit all materials using the online entry form. Applications that are late or incomplete will not be considered.
An application may be evaluated using the guidelines below.
1) Applicants must provide the names and contact details for two referees who have worked with the applicant in an educational or professional field. Written references and testimonials will not be accepted.
2) A budget indicating how the $10,000 would be spent and highlighting any other support the applicant has secured or aims to secure for the project.
3) Downloadable MP3 of unedited recordings of the applicant's performance or broadcast or a [maximum] 5 minute video via YouTube. It must demonstrate the applicant's ability to perform in relation to their application. It does not need to be part of a proposed final concert performance or project work.
4) Supporting documentation including music sketches and scores to show proof of concept for a proposed project.
5) If selected as a finalist, the applicant must be available for an interview or audition in the week commencing Monday 20 August 2018. If the applicant is not able to attend an interview in person during that week, due to extenuating circumstances, an alternative telephone or Skype interview may be arranged (at the discretion of the Chair of the Judging panel).
6) The recipient must be available for the presentation of the Scholarship on Wednesday 26 September 2018.
7) The recipient will be required to sign an agreement with Fine Music 102.5 acknowledging that they accept the Terms and Conditions governing the Award.
