The PSF will review your application and you will be notified by email of their decision. The PSF reserves the right to deny requests for TOPS data and information.

Research topics submitted must be focused and data requested must align with your objectives and the research question you are trying to answer. The PSF is unable to accomodate any requests for all TOPS data fields or all procedure codes.

TOPS datasets for 2023 and 2024 are not available for purchase at this time.

TOPS had a major platform change back in 2008 and there are some inconsistencies with the data collected between platforms. In order to maintain uniformity with the TOPS data being analyzed, The PSF recommends researching TOPS data beginning in 2008 if possible.
