As you likely know, the deans have engaged consultants in restorative practices to work with members of the AS&E community. Since March, they have met with and held multiple restorative conversations and circles with a wide array of faculty members, staff, and students, in multiple departments and within senior university administration.
In September, they will be offering a training in Restorative Practices for the AS&E community, and I encourage your participation. The initial training will introduce the circle process and ways that restorative practices can enhance communication, demonstrate how to use a restorative lens to manage conflict, and provide methods for enhancing collaboration in meetings.
The session is scheduled for the following date and time:
Thursday, September 20th, 2018 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. in Haven's Lounge, Wilson Commons Rm. 409
Please use this form to indicate which session you will attend.
