  • Transportation Agreement

    For the safety of the horses in our care no horse will be loaded on the trailer without a health certificate and coggins. Horses that can't be handled or with any signs of illness will also not be allowed on the trailer, deposits will not be refunded if upon arrival for pickup the horses are not halter broke or show signs of illness.

  • If your horse has never been hauled but has been handled we are happy to haul your horse and will work hard to make it a positive experience for them. Please don't ask us to haul your horse if it's dangerous or aggressive.

    Please put approximate date of pick up. Unfortunately due to weather, horses loading, traffic and other unforeseen circumstances all dates are tentative.

  • Horse Owner Agrees

    To make arrangements for the following and assume the costs there of....
  • Transporter Agrees

  • -Transporter will use due diligence to safely transport, feed and care for the aforementioned horse(s), but makes no guarantee as to the health or physical condition of the horse(s) upon departure or arrival.
  • Insurance of Horses in Transit

    Horse owner understands and acknowledges that insurance is not provided to the horse owner by the transporter. If the horse owner elects not to secure insurance, s/he agrees and assumes all risks, expenses, or liabilities associated with the transport, care or feeding of the aforementioned horse(s).
  •     Although we are legal and insured we strongly recommend insuring your horses individually for the best coverage in situations such as colic. Below are a couple of companies we recommend.

  • Emergency agreements of Transporter and Horse owner

    In the event the horse(s) require the services of a veterinarian, the transporter will immediately attempt to notify the horse owner. In the event the horse owner cannot be reached, the transporter is hereby authorized, as agent for the horse owner to call the first available liscensed veterinarian of his/her choice. All fees charged by said veterinarian shall be sole and exclusive responsibility of the horse owner, with no liability whatsoever on the transporter for such fees.
  • Horse owner agrees to reimburse transporter for all veterinary services, drugs and other medical supplies in the event of an emergency or as the transporter deems necessary for the well-being of the aforementioned horse(s). These fees are to be paid in full before the horse(s) are unloaded.
  • Payment Terms

    50% transportation deposit is non-refundable, when we take a deposit it holds the space on the trailer and determines our route. If someone cancels or a horse refuses to load it causes us to not only lose the money from that haul but additional hauls we turned down based on space or our determined route. When you send your deposit please know it WILL NOT be refunded under any circumstances. If you paid for your horse's transport in full and horse is unable to be transported or loaded for whatever reason then 50% will be refunded not the whole amount. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Due to fluctuating and volatile fuel costs hauling quotes are variable right now and subject to change. 

  • Deposit

    Deposit for 50% of the total sum in US dollars will be paid to transporter prior to shipment of said horse(s). Deposit is to be paid to transporter at booking to hold the space on the trailer. Deposit may be in the form of personal check, cashier's check or may be made online with a credit card or bank check at transport site via PayPal. IF USING A CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL A 3% FEE WILL BE ADDED TO COVER FEES INCURED FROM PAYPAL
  • Balance

    The balance for the remaining 50% is due in full at time of delivery and will be only accepted as cash unless prior arrangements have been made and approved with transporter. Absolutely no checks on delivery. The balance must be paid at pick up or delivery prior to unloading any horse(s). NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Transporter will be entitled to a lien against the aforementioned horse(s) for the value of services rendered and shall be entitled to enforce said lien in accordance with the appropriate state laws determined by said horse(s) state of pickup.

  • Other Charges

    The rate quoted is for delivery and care for your horse(s). However surcharges may apply for the following:
  • A. Waiting time at the barn for pick up or delivery person will be charged at the rate of $30 per hour after the first 20 minutes of waiting.

  • B. A change of pick up or delivery location different from that quoted may be subject to a surcharge after review.
  • C. "Hard loader fee" of $30 per half hour will be applied after the first 30 minutes of attempted loading or unloading.

  • D. For pick up and deliveries that require crossing a US border a surcharge of $150 will be added. 

     

    E. If a horse needs to be hauled to the vet for a health certificate there will be a charge of $100 an hour for time spent traveling to and waiting for the veterinarian

     

    F. The Owner is responsible for any damaged caused by his or her animal(s). The Carrier shall have the cost of repairing the damage estimated by a licensed facility and will invoice the Owner for payment. Should the Owner dispute the amount, he or she may submit their own written estimate to the Carrier for consideration and/or adjustment. 

     

    G. A $50 fee will be charged for any returned checks.

     

  • Release of liability

    Horse Owner hereby voluntarily releases and forever discharges the Transporter from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are related to, rise out of, or are in any way connected with the transport of the aforementioned horse(s). Horse Owner further agrees, promises and covenants not to sue, assert or otherwise maintain or assert any claims against the Transporter or its agents or employees, for any injury, death, disease, or damage to the aforementioned horse(s) arising from or in connection with the transport, care or feeding of said horse(s) or from any claims asserted by other third parties.
  • Entire agreement

    Horse Owner understands that this is the entire agreement between Horse Owner and the Transporter, its agents or employees, and it supersedes and cannot be modified or changed in any way the representations or statements of any agent or employee of the Transporter or Horse Owner.
  • MY SIGNATURE BELOW INDICATES THAT I HAVE READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT, UNDERSTAND IT COMPLETELY, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS IN ITS ENTIRETY.
