  • To be eligible for a Faculty Travel Grant, an online application must be submitted and approved no later than 30 days before travel begins.

    Travel Grant Fund are primarily awarded for the following types of projects: 

    1. Advanced study on an occasional, part-time basis;
    2. Presentation of scholarship at significant academic guild meetings;
    3. Pre-tenured faculty attendance at significant academic guild meetings;
    4. Participation on national and international boards, commissions, etc.;
    5. Workshops for professional development;
    6. Continuing Education credits that are part of a conference.

  • Please provide a budget outline for your request, stating clearly the total request and funds according to the following categories:

  • NOTE:

    Your application must be approved by your Department Chair and Dean before it is forwarded to the Academic Affairs office.

    Grants are issued with the understanding that you will submit an expense report with detailed receipts via Oracle within thirty (30) days following the event. If plans change and you do not use these funds to attend this event, it is imperative that Academic Affairs be informed immediately so the funds can be used elsewhere.
