Garden Valley Center for The Arts (as sponsor) of the James Castle Festival accepts applications in fine arts and fine crafts of unique and original two and three dimensional work, made by the applicant, in drawing and painting in most all mediums, photography, ceramics, sculpture, metalwork, glass, fiber, paper, jewelry, wood, textiles, and mixed media. There is a $10 application fee. The festival will take place rain or shine.
~ This show will be juried. Applications are only accepted from fine artists and fine craftsman. Applicants will be approved by the GVCA Celebration Committee. Exhibitors must be 18 years.
~ All items for sale at the Castle Festival MUST be the handiwork of the exhibiting artist(s). We understand that artists working in some medium may require an assistant, but if other people’s hands spend more time touching your work than yours do, please do not apply to sell at this festival. By filling out and signing the application you agree to all statements and stipulations set forth in this document.
~ No buy-sell, imports, mass or factory-produced, or work from kits, commercial designs, classes or workshops is allowed.
~ All items must be for sale.
~ Electricity is not available and generators will not be permitted.
~ Applications must be received by August 1st.
~ All applicants must submit 3 photos of product & a booth shot.
~ A Crouch City Business License is required, $20 1st time vendor/$10 return vendor, or bring your current 2018 city license number.

~ Idaho state sales tax number or temporary state tax ID must be supplied by the applicant.
~ Temporary Food Establishment License Application must be submitted 30 days prior to the event.

~ Booth Fee is $50 for two days, Saturday September 1 & Sunday September 2.
~ Once your application is submitted you will receive a confirmation email.
~ Approval packets will be sent at the beginning of the following week for those accepted including an invoice to pay your registration fees of $50 /booth for 2 days (our payment processor is Squareup, a secure site). Payment is by credit card only. No Pay Pal or checks.
~ IMPORTANT: Payment is due within one week in order to keep your reservation. Non-payment will result in your spot being given to another vendor on the waiting list.
~ Once you have paid your registration fees, your application will be finalized. At that point you will receive a 3rd email which includes your booth assignment and other information about the fair.
Request number of 12 x12’ spaces needed. GVCA will assign placement.
~ After the booth fee has been paid, if for any reason the artist withdraws from the Celebration prior to August 5th, the booth fee will be refunded, minus a $20 handling fee. After August 5th, no refunds will be issued.
~ Set up begins Saturday 6:00 AM
~ Vendors will be open for business Saturday 10:00 AM till 3:00PM when the Terrace Lakes Music Festival starts. Sunday Vendors must open at 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM when for our concert with Keith Harkin, a former member of Celtic Thunder performs in the park.
~ Tear down is only at the conclusion of the event Sunday after 3:00 PM.
~Vendors are responsible for their own set up & tear down, supplying their own canopy, tables, chairs, displays, etc. for their booth.
~ GVCA is not liable for theft, loss or damages. There will be volunteers patrolling the area Saturday night.
~ Artists are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and booth. Neither GVCA nor The Castle Celebration Organizers are responsible for damage to work or booth due to weather or unrelated incidents.
~ No booth is to be left unattended. Volunteers are available for relief breaks as requested.
~ Artists must keep external noise at their booth to a minimum so others can enjoy the music at the Castle Celebration.
