Terms of Service:
Thank you for showing interest in my work! This form is for ordering prints and merchandise not posted on my online shops or special items given first to patrons or my mailing list.
- By filling out this form and purchasing an item from me, you are confirming that you are a legal adult in your place of residence AND are LEAST 18 years or older.
- Please note that I use Square invoices. Do NOT attempt to send payment to any of my email addresses without using my invoice.
- If have ordered to pick up items at a convention/event and do not pick it up during vendor table hours, you are responsible for shipping costs if you still want them. If you need someone else to pickup on your behalf, just let me know and we will work this out. I will not be responsible for non-delivery if an agent is picking items up on your behalf. Once the agent is ID-ed and/or has provided proper information for pickup, it is out of my hands.
Shipping:
1) Shipping fees will be discussed via email. The Client must provide a valid Mailing Address to get an accurate quote and this cost is NOT included in the commission price itself. All shipments will have tracking unless it is for something small that the post office does not provide tracking on.
a) VAT NOTES: I cannot ship to the UK unless you purchase the commission through Etsy, due to VAT requirements. EU I can ship to, but I encourage requesting an Etsy listing for it, so you don't get charged any penalty fees upon import.
2) Shipping costs may change depending on what services the Artist is able to use at the time. Be reminded that the Artist has no control over these costs and once the piece is mailed, the tracking, quality of shipment service, etc., comes down to the postal service used. Any questions or concerns about the shipment should be sent to the postal service itself, unless they require the Artists input for a claim.
3) Any duties, fees, etc to recieve the package at your location are the responsibility of the Client.
4) If the package gets returned to me, and you want it re-shipped, the Client is responsible for paying for the shipping again on top of any fees/shipping charges I incurred to have it returned.
Shipping times: I pack items as soon as they are paid and aim to mail them out within 7 business days from the payment date unless something else is agreed upon. If there is slow communication on the buyers end, this might be longer. If there is some reason why shipping may be irrregular for a particular piece, you will be informed.
Please note that shipping times vary depending on where you live. CAD/USA are usually recieved within 2 weeks depending on the size of the package, while international orders may take longer. During high mail volume times like holidays or if the package must travel through area's experiencing natural disasters or dangerous weather, the postal service may delay delivery until it is safe for their workers to complete the delivery. (Covid delays may also be in effect during it's travels.)
Once the package has been given to the postal service, it is out of my hands. I can contact them to try to locate the item but once they have the item, I cannot do anything about how fast or slow delivery times are or if they lose the item. I will always do my best to make up for their issues if possible so please contact me and we can try to work something out.
Payments:
- Prices are in Canadian (unless otherwise states) and Square is preferred. (Paypal is an option if needed, however I do not accept e-cheques.)
- I MAY also accept Amazon or Redbubble gift cards. Email me to ask!
- Payment is due upfront before anything will get shipped.
- Taxes may apply.
- If you cannot pay within 48 hours then please let me know.
Refunds:
Orders are non refundable once shipped or delivered in person to the buyer or agent.
If you need to cancel, please do so ASAP. If the package has already been dropped off at the post office and paid for, there is nothing i can do after that. While i aim to have things sent during the following 7 business days, this is not always the case and the package might ship within the same day as payment if you happened to catch me at the right time.
If the item you recieve is damaged in some way, please provide proof. An unboxing video or photographs, photos of the container being damaged and what the product looks like, etc.
If the package gets returned to me and you decide to have a refund instead of paying for shipping again (see shipping info above for more info), you will be refunded everything EXCEPT what was spent on initial shipping and any fees I incurred for return service, as that service was already rendered and paid.
Artist Rights:
- I retain all copyright to my work.. Just because you have purchased an original or copy of something does not mean you now have the right to the art and you may not scan/reproduce/edit/etc. It is for your PERSONAL use only, in the form it is recieved. (framing and archiving stuff is totally okay of course! Just don't use it to make more copies or items with the same artwork!)
Client rights:
- If you decide to sell the physical copy you have recieved from me down the road, that is fine as long as it is clear who created it and what kind of piece it is (print, original, etc.) If it came with a certificate of authenticity, please include that with the piece. Anyone impersonating the artist with the piece in some fashion will be barred from purchasing other items in the future.
