ACCOMMODATIONS
We are able to offer single rooms at East-West Centerʻs Hale Mānoa dormitory. These dorms are part of the EWC campus and are across the street from Kennedy Theatre, APDFʻs performance venue and a ten minute walk from the Universityʻs dance studio.
Rooms must be booked through our office at APDF@hawaii.edu and are available on a first come first serve basis.
See http://www.eastwestcenter.org/about-ewc/housing/conference-housing for more details about Hale Mānoa and a diagram of the rooms.
Rooms are currently $23/night for a single. Full payment will be due 65 days prior to arrival. Cancellation between 30 and 59 days prior to arrival will cost one night's payment. Cancellation with less than 30 days notice will cost two night's payment.
Students are normally allowed to check-in one day prior (July 21, 2019) and check out one day after (August 5, 2019) the Festival. However, with enough advance notice, extensions to these dates may be accommodated on a space-available basis.
MEALS
Students have several choices:
1) Purchase a meal plan good at certain UH dining halls https://uhm.sodexomyway.com/
2) Purchase meal cards which have a specific amount (email the APDF office at apdf@hawaii.edu for details)
3) Pay cash or charge at the dining facilities (pay as you go)
Please note: Paradise Palms, the closest dining to Kennedy Theatre and the University Dance studio unfortunately does not participate in the meal plans or meal cards. They currently accept only cash or charge.
