Who You Are - (What You Do)
When I was approached about Family Heritage, I was 3 months into a career search and looking for a company that was growing with track record of success.
Why You Were Looking
6 years ago, my wife Lisa and I were wanting to start our family and that meant I needed to be home more and travel less. I also wanted to work with a company that had 3 things; 1 - a product that I could believe in 2 - work with people that I wanted to be in business with 3 - an unparalleled financial opportunity for my family. Now, we have 2 children, Grace is 5 years old and Blair is 3 years old.
How You Found FHL
My friend, Peter Ferre shared with me that he was building a very successful organization all over the country and I’d have the chance to do the same thing in the Midwest. I was excited for his success, but didn’t know much about the insurance industry.
What Impressed You The Most
When he told me that Family Heritage was a leader in the supplemental health insurance arena, I knew I wanted to learn more. They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and their customer service has received national recognition. Obviously, things like serious accidents, heart disease and especially cancer affect everyone and every family understands the need for a good back up plan. Combine that with the fact that all of their plans are refundable…meaning if you don’t use it, you get your money back; forced me to take a much closer look at the company.
What Its Doing For You
Now 6 years later, our director group has over 25 world class sales professionals and team leaders. We are growing every year and super excited about the next key person who joins our team. We take our jobs seriously but not ourselves so we’re having a lot of fun and have a real culture of success and support. I appreciate the opportunity to make my own schedule and be home more with my family. Financially, I can’t believe how Family Heritage has impacted my family in such a positive way.
The Best Part Is...
We are making a difference in people’s lives. Everyone knows someone; whether it’s a friend, someone from church, someone they work with or even a family member that’s been through a battle with cancer.
