Many insurers in the Canadian marketplace utilize a form of credit scoring as a means of applying additional discounting to their premium offerings. With your express permission, we will provide the Insurer with the authorization to apply a 'soft credit check' for the purpose of obtaining a quote for insurance only. 

This check has no impact on your credit rating and cannot cause premiums to increase. Our office has no access to your credit report or the underlying information used to calculate the score. Your credit report will show that the Insurer has made a request to receive your credit information, however this will only be visible to you and is not shown to third parties. 

These checks apply only to property insurance and have no impact on Automobile insurance.

This form allows us to collect the necessary information to provide you with a quote for insurance. 

You will be asked to provide information specific to the vehicle(s), driver(s), and properties you wish to insure. By completing this form, you authorize Cade Associates Insurance Brokers Limited to collect, use, and disclose the form information, as well as the insurance history, claims history, and driving and claims history of all drivers listed in the form for the limited purposes necessary to assess and prepare a quote and purchase insurance. All information you provide will be treated as privileged and confidential and is subject to the privacy information available on our website. Membership in FOCA is a requirement to participate in CottageFirst. If your local Association is not a member and you opt to purchase insurance through this program, your name will be shared with FOCA each year to verify your continued membership as an Individual or Family Supporter.
