This is a family friendly 4 day event, rain or shine at the Wayne County Fairgrounds 10871 Quirk Rd. Belleville MI 48111 on June 18, 19, 20 and 21 of 2020. By submitting this application the Vendor hereby represents that they have the expertise, knowledge and experience needed to provide the goods or services outlined in their vendor application, and will be present at their booth during the hours of operation. The vendor agrees to uphold all laws and legal requirements of the state of Michigan. The Vendor shall indemnify, defend, and hold Michigan Pagan Festival (MPF), Wayne County Fairgrounds (WCF) and its representatives harmless for any loss or damage. The Vendor shall be considered an independent contractor. This vendor agreement does not establish an employer/employee relationship between MPF or WCF and Vendor, and no such agreement shall be established at any time.
-I understand that by participating in MPF, myself*, my merchandise*, and my staff may be subject to photography, video and audio recording, and otherwise reported on by the news and other media. MPF has permission to publish photographs or images of my work*, my booth, or of me/staff* for purposes related to promotion of the event, past, present, and future.
*If you do not want to be photographed please pick up a colored sash at the registration booth, and/or place a 'No Photography' sign(s) within your booth.
-I acknowledge and agree that with my Michigan Tax License I am required by law to collect and remit Michigan sales taxes. MPF is not responsible.
-I recognize and acknowledge that I assume full risk of any injury, property damage, or loss which I may sustain as a result of my participation in any and all activities connected with or associated with my participation in Michigan Pagan Festival.
-Furthermore, I understand that I am responsible for proper insurance and protection of my work and setup even though it is not required by the event.
Outside. This is a rain or shine event. Staff is on site through the night, however the fairgrounds are not fenced. Vehicles may not be within the vending area once the event starts for the weekend. If you need assistance loading during the event please ask the staff and should volunteers be available, they will assist you. Should you need to bring your car on site, you must have co-ordinator clearance and staff to escort you.
Load in. June 18th at 9am, doors open to the public at 2pm. Vendors may pull their vehicles up to the building to unload then park their car in the designated parking area before setting up. Vendors must provide carts or carry their displays, props and merchandise. Vendor spots will be marked and a map will be supplied, the event will supply a volunteer to help vendors locate their spot. Any vendors that are observed damaging any property, grass, equipment, etc are subject to be fined and/or asked to leave the event without their vending fee being returned.
Load out. Starts at 5PM on Sunday the 21st and vendors need to vacate the grounds by 7 P.M.
Vendors are permitted to drive up to the building to load and unload their vehicles, but are not allowed to remain parked longer than loading time requires.
Payment is due in full to secure your space. $120 for a 10x10 space. If you need to cancel, please email us ASAP and we will issue a 80% refund of your booth fee. No refunds will be issued after May 31st 2020. The application fee is non-refundable.
