• Be an effective communicator with those you interact with. That includes letting the customer know you are on your way and when you arrive.
• Attention to detail. Pickup and delivery may seem routine. Yet without care any job can be a nightmare. Understanding what the job is and how it needs to be done will save you tremendous grief.
• Keep calm and composed when interacting with a customer. Frustrations of the road can be hard to let go of. A customer may worry about being late. Being courteous and professional goes a long way to resolve potentially contentious situations.
