BEFORE STAINING YOUR DECK:

• Only a SOLID stain will cover another color or change the color of old wood.
• Any stain swatch, by any brand, especially for outside, will show MORE COLOR on the finished deck than it does on the swatch/chip.
• Semi-Translucent stains will not cover any pre-existing color and will only be approved if re-staining the same color
• Translucents will only be approved for brand new decks.

PRE-APPROVED STAIN COLORS:    

The HOA recommends PPG ProLuxe solid stain (formerly Sikkens). Below is a list of the six (6) pre-approved PPG ProLuxe solid deck stain colors:

• Option 1 - #201 Chestnut Brown
• Option 2 - #203 Beachwood 
• Option 3 - #206 Quail
• Option 4 - #211 Maple 
• Option 5 - #214 Hickory
• Option 6 - #226 River Bed

.Although other options can be submitted for ARC approval, there are a few reasons why these 6 PPG ProLuxe colors have been pre-approved:

1. This product should last 5 to 8 years, compared to 3 to 4 years of others.    
2. The community has used this product for several years with outstanding results.
3. The colors are consistent and reliable.
