CENTER-BASED OPPORTUNITES

Please rate your interest in each of the following:

MEALS ON WHEELS:

Deliver a hot nutritious meals to homebound seniors in your own neighborhood. You can have a daily, weekly, or monthly route.

FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Help participants stay fit by instructing an exercise class one or two days per week in an Aging Ahead center, or at one of our community locations.

Are you certified to teach a fitness class? Which one(s)? (ex. Tai Chi, Yoga)

ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR

Do you have a teachable skill? Help our Aging Ahead centers with activities such as computer classes, arts & crafts, dance classes, etc.

Are you certified to lead an activity? Which one(s)?

AGING AHEAD LUNCH SERVER

Assist the staff by serving, and/or cleaning up after the noon meal.

STAR (Senior Transportation and Rides)

Provide a driving service to area seniors to and from their medical appointments. Additional driving information and records are required.

ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES

BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

Represent Aging Ahead during outreach events to share information on our mission, services, and programs. Further training will be provided.

MISSOURI SMP (Senior Medicare Patrol)

Empower our Aging Ahead community with resources and measures to prevent healthcare fraud. Further training will be provided.

SILVER HAIRED LEGISLATURE (SHL)

Citizens aged 60 or older that promote conscientious legislative advocacy for Missouri's older adults.

ORGANIZATION OR CORPORATE OPPORTUNITIES

ADOPT-A-ROUTE

Adopt a Meals on Wheels delivery route. Your team will be committed to delivering a meal route on a regular basis to homebound adults.

ADOPT-A-BOX

Commodity Boxes consist of dry food provisions for one month. These are each about 25lbs and are delivered monthly to a senior in need. Delivery times are more flexible. This volunteer option is only available in St. Charles, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties.

SUPPORT-A-ROUTE

Have your organization monetarily support Aging Ahead by virtually adopting a delivery route. You may choose a weekly or monthly donation schedule which covers the cost of all meal preparations and driving costs of a typical delivery route.
