Drone Flight Request
All UC owned UAS flights and/or UAS flights on UC property must be pre-approved. Use the form below to submit your request to Public Safety for review. Public Safety has authority to deny or suspend activities that are not compliant or in the best interest of the university. If flight is approved, Pilot in Command (PIC) will receive a copy of the approved form, which should be available at all times during the flight. **We ask that requestors submit their request to fly a drone at least two weeks prior to the requested start of the drone flight.**

Emergency Flight Authorization
Flight Requests must be submitted at least five full business days in advance of the start date of operation. Exceptions will only be considered in an event of true emergency that requires a flight prior to five full business days from date of request. To submit request for an emergency flight authorization, please e-mail edward.dadosky@uc.edu and rmi@uc.edu. Please be advised an exception request for flight authorization does not guarantee flight will be approved.

• $1,000,000 Limits. • Certificate of Insurance must specify that coverage is for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)/drones. • Certificate of Insurance must state: "The following are Additional Insureds: The University of Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati Board of Trustees and its officers, employees, agents and volunteers. Coverage shall be primary to the Additional Insureds and not contributing with any other insurance or similar protection available to the Additional Insureds whether other available coverage be primary, contributing, or excess."
