    ASSESSMENT SHIFT PAYMENT POLICY

At Jolly Roger Adventure, we invest significant time and resources into recruiting and training new team members. As part of this process, we offer assessment shifts to allow candidates to experience the role, observe experienced employees, and gain hands-on experience in our working environment.

    Payment Policy:

    • Assessment shifts are not paid unless you are formally offered and accept a position.
    • If offered a position, you must complete four full shifts before any payment for the assessment shift is made.
    • The assessment shift is designed for learning and observation rather than fulfilling a working role. During this time, our team members dedicate their time to training and guiding you, which temporarily increases their workload.
    • By attending an assessment shift, you acknowledge and accept these terms. If at any point during the shift you feel the role is not suitable for you, you may leave after notifying the onsite supervisor. However, failure to complete the required shifts means you will not be eligible for payment.

    MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

    Your assigned manager will:

    • Support you throughout the assessment shift and be available to address any concerns.
    • Oversee your training plan and coach you to meet company policies and standards.
