  • Sessions

    For summer 2026, we have two sessions—May 31-July 4 & June 29-August 8. Working for at least one session is required. If you are able to work more than one session, that is great! You will receive a $25 honorarium for each week.
  • Please read the following Session Contract carefully.

    I will attend Leadership Live! training and agree to be at Ironwood as a Leadership Live! volunteer for Session 1 (Sunday, May 31, 2:00 p.m.–Saturday, July 4, 2:00 p.m.) and/or Session 2 (Monday, June 29, 10:00 a.m.–Sat., August 8, noon).

    I understand that I will not receive permission to break my contract unless there is a medical or family emergency. I also understand that if I break the rules of conduct for an Ironwood staff member, I may be asked to leave.

  • Fees

    For any fees, please mail a check to Ironwood or call our office with a credit card. We recommend bringing $25 for optional weekend activities and a Leadership Live! T-shirt.

  • Doctrinal Statement

    Please carefully read the following doctrinal statement.
  • I am a born-again believer, and I believe . . .

    1. in the biblical account of creation;

    2. in the plenary, verbal inspiration of the Bible;

    3. in the eternal, triune God;

    4. in the incarnation and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ;

    5. in the sinless life and the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross;

    6. in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave;

    7. in the second coming of Jesus Christ;

    8. in the eternal punishment of the unsaved in a literal, burning hell;

    9. in salvation by faith through the shed blood of Jesus Christ;

    10. in a separated stand from the world and unto the Word of God;

    11. in a separated stand from any group or church that undermines or denies the above
    essential doctrines;

    12. in the God-ordained institution of marriage between one man and one woman, and that all moral sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage.

    13. in biblical gender distinctives, including the office of pastor as limited to men.

  • Standards for Ironwood Staff

  • 1. Must be a born-again Christian.

    2. Must sign the doctrinal statement from conviction, not convenience.

    3. Must maintain a maturing spiritual walk with God in order to be always ministering to the needs of others.

    4. Must be faithful in daily personal devotions, spending time in Bible reading and prayer.

    5. Must maintain a separated position on things of this world, such as worldly music, dancing, movies, smoking, alcohol, drugs, filthy language, and personal  appearance.

    6. Must reflect the testimony of Christ in personal appearance at all times. Dress must be modest and appropriate for the occasion with all fashions coming to the knee.

    7. Must love young people. Love is a self-sacrificing desire to meet the loved person's needs.

    8. Must maintain loyalty toward camp leaders. No griping; constructive suggestions welcomed.

    9. Must be faithful, dependable, and responsible. These qualities are not optional.

    10. Must adhere to staff dating regulations. Socializing among staff while camp is in session is discouraged.
