AKA "The Backbone" You are an active Chamber member, regularly attend events and like to help other people discover the benefits of the Chamber :) You will attend ribbon cutting events, greet folks at Business After Hours events, and help us welcome new members to the chamber.

You'll meet new businesses, connect with EVERYONE, get your own nametag (!) and be featured in news, posts, and social media mentions on the Chamber's channels (marketing!) You're logo will be listed on our Groups page.
Young Professionals of Montezuma County #YPMC
You are the next generation of business leaders in our community. We're sure this group is also F-U-N, in its own way :) We want to give you a forum, a way to connect with others who have similar interests, challenges, and goals. We will begin our "Business on Tap" Young Professionals networking series this fall, We are looking for motivated professionals to help us develop this new network of professionals, and to help guide the group during its first year.
Time Committment: We're sure this group is also F-U-N, in its own way :) May be somewhat time intensive at first, but you're building something, so that's to be expected. Return on investment: You're building a network of future leaders, and that's really powerful. This is going to be a FUN group. A group that serves two purposes: Helps us get the word out about Chamber events, community events, and other member happenings, AND helps us with social events. We are bringing back our annual Chamber Banquet - help us make it awesome!

Government Affairs Committee
Do you follow local news and politics? Are you interested in local, regional, state, national, and global initiatives and movements, and how they impact us here in Montezuma County?
What you'll do: Meet quarterly (ad hoc as needed) to discuss these issues and how they impact our business community. You will periodically develop surveys for the business community, which the Chamber will administer and collect data from for your analysis. One member of this committee will be a Chamber Board Director.
