Due to ice delays at the Swan River Centennial Arena, the Stamps Camp Hockey School has been pushed back and condensed. Camp will now run Thursday (Aug. 29) to Sunday (Sept. 1). Fees for the school have been adjusted to $175 to account for the change.
Conditioning Camp has been cancelled.
Dates: August 29 (Thursday) to September 1, 2024 (Sunday).
Location: Swan River Centennial Arena.
Coaches: Will include Stampeder Coaching Staff Head Coach Barry Wolff as well as former and current Stampeder players. This camp is designed to maximize full learning potential while allowing the players to enjoy the camp and have FUN!
Open to all youth in the following age groups:
- 6-9 years - Hockey School
- 10-12 years - Hockey School
- 13-15 years - Hockey School
- 2009 born and older - Conditioning Camp (for the elite hockey player going into Rep and/or Junior Tryouts)
All Hockey School participants will receive an official souvenir camp Jersey.
The fourdays of Hockey School will include:
- Daily ice times - including individual skill development, skating, passing, shooting, game tactics, small area competition games and scrimmages.
- Off-ice sessions include skills, conditioning (more advanced for the older groups) and game activities.
- Goalies will receive goalie instruction and specific goalie drills.
- The fourth day will be a fun competition day with a full scrimmage.
