PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PAPERWORK – refer to rules 3.6 – 3.12
ALL incomplete or incorrect forms will be returned and incur a $10.00 penalty fee which will result in delays with the application being processed.
Important Information
Rule 1.4: The pedigree of stock applying for entry to the Pinto Association must be authenticated by copies of appropriate service certificates, breeder’s returns or pedigree certificate issued by a Breed Association. The Association may make such enquiries as it deems necessary to validate any documents submitted for this purpose.
Rule 1.9: Horses with Appaloosa or Palouse characteristics will not be accepted and horses developing such characteristics may be excluded, at the discretion of the committee.
Rule 3.13: The Registrar will only recognise ancestry if it is authenticated by copies of service certificates, stud slip, a Registration certificate of a breed society or statutory declaration. Sire and dam are to be established by including such documents or copies thereof with the application for registration. Copies are to be retained in the Registration Files. Other generations will only be recognised if they are included in the above documents, or are included in the registrar of the Pinto Association of South Australia Inc.
Rule 10.12: Grey and white pintos that no longer show definite pinto colouring or pintos developing Appaloosa or Palouse characteristics must cease to be shown.
Membership and Registration Applications: NO exhibit or person may enter or compete in any PASA Inc. event until the membership or registration application has been acknowledged and accepted. The committee take no responsibility if closing dates are missed and entries are not accepted prior to the membership or registration applications being presented and accepted. On receiving this application the Registrar will to the best of their ability with the information provided by the applicant check that all details are correct, and that the stated animal adheres to the criteria laid out in sections 1 – 9 of the rules and regulations of the Pinto Assoc. of SA Inc. and that all required information, photos and fees has been included. If the application is correct and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Pinto Assoc. of SA Inc. the registrar will submit this application to the committee at the next available meeting for further verification and approval. If the registrar finds in the first instance the application is incorrect, missing documentations or fees it will be returned to the applicant which will result in delays and penalty fees. The submitting of this application form is not an automatic assumption that the animal will be accepted for registration with the Pinto Assoc. of SA Inc. Failure to comply with any of the above may result in the registration and membership application not being accepted.
