  • Dentist

    Responsible for the day to day diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the oral cavity and related structures for the patients that present to the clinic. 

    Must have successfully completed a certified school of dentistry curriculum and have a current license from the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners

    Licensed Practical Nurse              

    Under the direction of the RN/Department Head, deliver direct patient care within the scope of practice

    Graduate of a recognized LPN program with current license from the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.  Previous experience in a clinical setting, good communication and organizational skills.

    Mammography Technician


    The mammography technician is responsible for detecting breast tissue abnormalities by completing mammographic imaging studies; presenting them for diagnosis. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT). Must be Mammographic Radiologic Technology certified. Must be able to operate sophisticated computer equipment. Able to communicate effectively. Main Clinic

     

    Deputy Principal Investigator-All of US Research Program

    Assist the Principal Investigator with proposing approaches, designs and implementation for task/milestone completion.  Assist with submitting and maintaining appropriate IRB protocols and information, as requested, for NIH All of US Research Program IRB review.  Provide the information needed to the NIH to issue a Certificate of Confidentiality and ensuring adherence to the NIH All of US Program Research Program Certificate of Confidentiality.  Assist in completing of all tasks/milestones in a timely manner as defined in the terms and condition of award.  Assist with monthly reporting to NIH on task/milestone program throughout the project period.  Collaborating with additional NIH All of US Research Program partners as designated by NIH. Deputy Principal Investigator has the ultimate responsibility for assisting with the implementation of the activities as approved by NIH.   

    Ph.D., or equivalent level degree. Knowledge and experience with qualitative research, and a history of collaboration on multi-disciplinary research teams.  Established record of research accomplishment is a plus.

     Outreach Worker
    (2) The Outreach Worker will work to provide outreach opportunities for community residents of Vicksburg and surrounding Warren County who lack the understanding of COVID-19. Respond to incoming requests for assistance regarding COVID-19 and provide structured patient education on treatments and vaccinations.

    Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience.
    Ability to work effectively with underserved and diverse populations.
    At least 1-year experience in planning and implementing projects, setting goals and meeting timelines promptly.

    Registered Nurse

    Provides direction and supervision to medical assistants. Perform clinical and administrative duties as directed by the director of School-based clinic, medical director or other providers.  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Must have a license from the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.

    Must have current CPR certification.      

    School-based Clinic

     

    Dental Assistant              

    Primarily responsible for all treatment areas used by the Dentist. 

    Current Radiology Permit.  Graduated from a dental assistant program or have 2 years of in-office training.  Current CPR certification.

    Licensed Masters Social Worker

    Conduct intake/assessment process that collects identifying and contact information on income, resources, living arrangement, employment, health care information and other information as related to presenting problems.  Administer basic behavior health screening to include the PHQ-9 and CAGE-AID with all patients, the HITS with all patients in an intimate partner relationship, GAD-7 with patients presenting with signs and symptoms of anxiety, and instruments to determine the level and presence of suicide ideation.   Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work (LMSW) from an accredited university or college and have a valid Social Work license in the State of Mississippi.  This person required extensive counseling training and skills, also the ability to work with diverse population groups and the general public.            

    Main Clinic

    Licensed Clinical Social Worker  

    Provide counseling, evaluation, intervention, and case management services to those who are suffering mental, social, familial and and/or medical issues. Also responsible for examining the social and environmental factors impacting the client’s life.  Provide resources within the community that can make a positive impact on the patient’s life.         Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university or college and have a valid Social Work license in the State of Mississippi.  This person required extensive counseling training and skills, also the ability to work with diverse population groups and the general public.         TBA

    Licensed Professional Counselor

    Provide professional substance abuse, mental health counseling and dual assessments and diagnosis to patients.   

    Master Degree in Behavioral Health (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related behavioral health field) required; one year directly-elated field experience required.  Hold a current license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Mississippi. TBA
