Tennessee Music Education Association Publication Advertising Insertion Agreement Contract
Tennessee Musician, is the official publication of the Tennessee Music Education Association. Circulation is 3,500 per issue and is delivered to all members of the Tennessee Music Education Association, serving all current and retired music educators at all levels across Tennessee as well as collegiate music education majors, executives, presidents, and editors in all 50 federated NAfME state music education associations and member groups in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and numerous college and university libraries.
TMEA Tennessee All-State and Conference Program is open to any advertisers who purchase at least one full page ad in the Tennessee Musician. Both programs are attractive, eye-catching, full color publications with a print run of over 3500. The programs go to all conference attendees, student members of the All-State ensembles as well as to their parents who attend the concerts.
All TMEA publications are printed and also produced electronically. Advertisements can be designed with interactive links that will direct online readers to your website, which helps generate more web traffic for your audience.

Inside Cover Page - $450 (8.5” x 11” with .125” bleed on all sides W/4 Color Process)
Back Cover Page - $450 (8.25” x 7.5” with .125” bleed on all sides W/4 Color Process)
Full page - $350 (8.5" wide, 11" deep with .125" bleed on all sides W/4 Color Process)
*Half page - $250 (8” x 5.12” horizontal or 3.92” x 10.5” vertical)
*Quarter page - $175 (5.17” x 3.92” horizontal or 3.92” x 5.17” vertical)
*Not avaialble for All-State or Conference Programs
Ads contracted for four consecutive insertions within the same academic year (August - June) for the Tennessee Musician may earn a 10% discount. Ad copy and ad size may change from issue to issue, provided changes are received by publication ad deadline.

TMEA Publications Policies
Advertisers will need to prepay unless otherwise requested by the advertisers. Advertisers will be invoiced upon receipt of advertisement insertion agreement. Payments, with checks made payable to the Tennessee Music Education Association, should be sent to the address shown on the invoice. Please include copy of the invoice (or invoice number) with payment to insure proper credit.Terms are net 30 days. We now accept credit cards as well.
PROOF OF PUBLICATION:
In lieu of tear sheets, each advertiser will receive two complete copies of each publication in which their ad appears.
WEBSITE LINKS IN ADS:
All TMEA publications are published as physical print editions and produced electronically for online publication on the TMEA website. Advertisers who include any web addresses or links in their ads are solely responsible for making sure that links are both active and accurate for readers to directly access on their preferred electronic reading devices.
ARTWORK SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Any changes that are made to your artwork to fit the required specifications will be billed to you at the rate of $100 per hour. To avoid any dissatisfaction with the publication of your ad, please prepare all ads to the exact dimensions and formats specified in the Acceptable Formats section below.
Advertisers are responsible for submission of advertising materials by the deadlines noted on the ad authorization form.
If you checked that you will send a new ad with each insertion on the ad authorization form, please make sure the new ad has been received by the by the deadline.
Advertisements must be submitted to Michael Chester (firstname.lastname@example.org) by the deadline for each publication.
ACCEPTABLE ELECTRONIC FORMATS:
PDF High Resolution. Ads must be submitted in this format. All applicable fonts and images must be provided. Images must be at least 300 dpi resolution at 100% of print size.
UNACCEPTABLE ELECTRONIC FORMATS:
We cannot accept electronic ads in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Corel Draw, Word Perfect, or PowerPoint.
All TMEA Publications are printed using offset lithography.
