    Hello! In order to be successful in an online program, you need to be computer/internet literate.

    Would you like to know if you have the Internet Skills to take the program? Complete this checklist and find out!

    First of all, you need a computer.

    You may use any computer or laptop to take the course.

    You need to know your computer. What kind of computer are you using? Is is a Mac? A PC? Laptop?

    You may be able to view some lessons using your mobile phone but in order to view the presentations and take the quizzes, and take the different learning activities, you need to have a computer or laptop.

    You need an Internet connection.

    In order to access the Internet, you computer needs an Internet connection.

    For improved performance, you need to have a reliable high-speed Internet connection, and the latest operating system of your computer.

    You need to know what browser you are using. 

    Your browser means the system that you use to browse the Internet. For example:

    • Firefox
    • Google Chrome
    • Microsoft Edge

    If you are using a Mac computer, Safari is your default browser. However, you should be able to switch to Google Chrome or Firefox.

    The recommended browsers for taking the Culture Advantage programs is Internet Explorer or Firefox.

    Make sure that you have the latest version of your browser.

  • If you are not able to hear your voice, try unplugging and plugging your headset again and see if you are able to record.

    You should also try switching to a different browser. For example, if you are using Microsoft Edge, try switching to Google Chrome to see if the issue persists.
