  • Types of Interpreters

    Integral Care has staff Sign Language Interpreters such as Kelly de Silva who work with many Deaf clients.  Someone like Kelly is called a "Hearing Interpreter" or HI for short.  3 Bridges is used when IC staff interpreters are not available for a client's appointment.

    Deaf clients might need a "Certified Deaf Interpreter" (CDI) in addition to the Hearing Interpreter.  Please indicate if a CDI is needed for this appointment AND if an additional HI is required.
