    Applicant(s) must be Farm Bureau member(s) between the ages of 18 and 35 and in good standing with his/her/their county Farm Bureau. 

     

    The individual and spouse/spousal-equivalent, if applicable:

    * Shall have reached his/her/their 18th birthday on NC Farm Bureau Application Deadline, Wednesday, July 12, 2023. 

    * Shall not have reached his/her/their 36th birthday by the AFBF Convention Closing General Session, Monday, January 27, 2025.

  • Please reivew the RULES OF COMPETITION to confirm your eligibility to apply and study the Entry Form and Application Guidelines.  Pay special attention to the CHARACTER LIMITS on the application.

    Judging and scoring are also covered on the Rules of Competition.  NC Farm Bureau will work with the winner to complete the PowerPoint Template.  Disregard due dates on AFBF Rules of Competition.  NC Farm Bureau deadline and information are below.

    Your completed Application and Verification Document should be submitted by Wednesday, July 12, 2023!

    Once you have reviewed NC Farm Bureau information in this form and click on SUBMIT at the end you will automatically be redirected to the AFBF Excellence in Agriculture Award Application.  

    A WORKSHEET of the Application will be attached to your Confirmation Email once you SUBMIT this form.

  • Please provide one of the following for verification purposes.  You will be able to upload your document on the application.  

    • Copy of Form 1099 or Form W-2
    • A letter of verification from your employer or company on letterhead that includes length of employment and a brief description of your job responsibilities.

  • Excellence in Agriculture presentations will be at NC Farm Bureau on Tuesday, August 1, between 1:00 - 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 2, between 8:00 - 11:00 am.
