What you need to know to apply
The Warehouse Pop-Up Project, a component of the Arts Warehouse, is currently seeking proposals from prospective pop-up creative retail tenants. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis with the first deadline for review August 16th, 2018 with an anticpated start date of September 1, 2018. The ultimate goal of the Pop-Up Project is to create a vibrant Arts Warehouse that serves as a destination for Delray Beach|Artist Alley|Pineapple Grove Arts District. We will achieve this goal by facilitating the short-term lease of 3-4 spaces in the Arts Warehouse.
The Pop-Up Project matches tenants looking to launch their creative maker business with those in line with the mission of the Arts Warehouse. All applicants must have products that are made and/or designed by them. Those proposing curated shops must have products produced by artist/makers and be able to show proof of the creators of the product.
Are you interested in opening a creative retail space in the Arts Warehouse?
If so, we want to hear from you. The minimal lease length for your shop will be four months. Spaces will have varying lease rates, but will be leased below market value in accordance to the Arts Warehouse fee schedule of $2 per square foot per month. Should the partnership be viable for both parties their is potienal for longer term leases.
Please note all proposals will remain confidential until accepted into the program. Upon acceptance into the program, all Warehouse Pop Up tenants will be featured in publications and marketing materials. By submitting your application, you are not committed to leasing space if accepted.
Pop-up lease terms are four months and long term leases are possible after the lease terms expire. Lease terms will be in line with the Arts Warehouse fee schedule. Flexibility for the tenant is a priority.
Tenats must be open during Arts Warehouse hours of operation and during special events.

First Friday Art Walks 6-9pm | Makers Markets
Space $2 per sqft per month | $500 Security Deposit | $150 IT/Keycard/maintenance | includes utilities
1. August 16, 2018 | 1st round reviews.
2. Week of August 20th | Interviews conducted with top applicants, Pop-up tenants selected.
3. Weekk of August 27th | Notify winners and start touring available spaces | Signing Contracts.
4. Applicants should expect to open their shops in Sept|Oct 2018.
Applications received and reviewed after 1st round will be contacted with new time line.
If spaces remain open we will continue the review process. Applications received after first deadline will be reviewed as a space becomes open.
