Sustainable Facilities Associates Program
Purpose: To gather information and share peer to peer best practices and examples of sustainable facilities management and solutions.
Green Technology is a non-profit helping to connect the public and private sector to share best practices, new technology, and help achieve California’s sustainability goals. At Green Technology we provide forums and methods to help you create a more sustainable environment.
Some of the tools that we use for this include forums, in-person and virtual events, magazine articles, roundtables, Summits, Lunch and Learns, training and other means to share information.
The Sustainable Facilities Associates Program has 3 areas or categories, the first being the Government Sector which includes State and local governments within California on all levels and throughout the different municipalities.
The second being the K-12 Schools Sector, this is public and private schools alike, any school that has sustainability goals and environmental programs and efforts we would like to include in order to make a better California for all students.
The third being the Higher Education sector which is Community Colleges and Universities. This includes both California State University system and the University of California systems.
This program is used to create a comradery and group mentality in regards to working together to better California and the environment for future generations.
