Dog Adoption Application

This application will allow us to match each dog with their perfect Family.

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to adopting a dog from Project No Kill Canine Rescue, but it does not guarantee I'll get a dog immediately or in the future. While it's unlikely, PNK reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

APPROVAL: Each adoption application will be reviewed and processed in the prior 2 weeks before sterilization surgery or date the dog will be oficially available for adoption. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, you will be notified. The standard adoption fee of $275.00 will be due at the time of adoption.

GOING HOME: We cannot hold dogs once they are adopted, as our Fosters have certain commitments and new dogs are available every day. It is critical for their social development that the dogs depart immediately after being adopted. We can consider the foster-to-adopt option in special circumnstances.

CONTRACT: We have a contract and will not place a dog without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your dog.

SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 6 months. All our adoptable dogs will be neutered/spayed before adoption. Moreover, we require that every other animal in the household has been spayed/neutred. This is a non-negotiable requirement for adoption.
