Who qualifies for Associate Membership?
As part of the application process to become an Associate Member of this Club, your application data will be distributed to our Board members for approval, and if the Board approves your membership, to our current members. Once you become an Associate member, your data is collected and stored on our member only/password protected website (rotaryeclubcanada.ca). It is available to you at any time for you to manage. Only your contact information is available to other password accessed fellow members. All of your personal information on the website is available to selected club leaders. None of your private information, including contact information, is shared with any individual or organization that does not have access to our website. The handling of data is pursuant to legitimate interest for Rotary members, but where consent is required for this, by submitting this information with this form, you hereby give consent to this use and access.

Associate Members are not registered with Rotary International nor with our District.

Upon becoming an Associate Member you will also be asked to provide an Introduction speech to introduce yourself to other e-club members.
• Spouses of Active Members of the Rotary E-Club of Canada One, or another Club wanting to take on a role in our club without (immediate) intentions to join as an Active Member.

• Former Active Members of The Rotary E-Club of Canada One who were in good standing at their departure as a member may apply 12 months after their departure.

• Friends of the Club wishing to be involved.

• Prospective Members who do not hold Active Membership in another Rotary Club wishing to explore the Rotary E-Club of Canada One, be involved in Committees Projects or propose projects in their own community under the name of Rotary before they decide whether or not to become an Active Member.

• Active Members of another club wishing to be involved in the Rotary E-Club of Canada One, but not currently prepared to leave their current club.

• Young leaders and students wanting to be involved but not able to join as Active Members due to time restraints or budget.

• TRF Scholar recipients unable to hold Active Membership in a Rotary Club, as per RI policy.

In some cases Associate Members will be expected to join our club as an Active Member within 12 months of their induction. Status will be reviewed on an annual basis. If their status or situation changes, they may be asked to join as an Active Member.

Annual Associate Membership Dues are $100.00 and can be made in

semi-annual payments. You will receive notice when payment is due.

Membership qualifications requirements

Prior to being considered for Associate Membership, the applicant must have attended one web-based meeting at the Rotary E-club of Canada, and one On-line Fellowship event, and must have completed and submitted the attendance form on our website. Once accepted, the member must agree to attend a minimum of one web-based meeting per month, plus one, live, ZOOM Coffee Chat or Fellowship Assembly per month.
