TechGarage is operated by STEM HQ, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the interest of students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics through competitive robotics programs. Our goal at TechGarage program is to make a difference in the lives of the next generation. The monthly membership is designed to spread the costs of an expensive program throughout the year. Not participating in programs over the summer or a specific month does not entitle the participant to a refund for that month. If you have specific questions regarding your membership please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
TechGarage charges a flat monthly membership fee as a convenience instead of charging larger fees for individual programs. With a year-round membership, we are able to better plan for the number of teams who will be participating in programs allowing us to order needed inventory in advance of each program. The monthly membership fee of $125 covers all equipment and competition registration fees. Membership dues are paid on a monthly basis in advance.
As a member, you or your team can meet whenever TechGarage is open, use the 3D printers, laser cutter and work on other school-related projects.Members in good standing through the Fall and Spring programs will receive a weekly discount off the summer camp fee equivalent to their monthly membership.
We use a third party service to do our monthly billing. You will create an account to process your payments to TechGarage. You will have complete control of your account and will be responsible for making the necessary changes to keep your credit card account current as well as having the flexibility to cancel your membership if you so desire.
Participants may cancel membership at any time. The expectation is that if you cancel your monthly membership then you do not plan to participate in future programs. If a membership is canceled it may be possible to participate in future programs by reactivating the membership but only if we have an opening on a particular team that is age appropriate. New members will be given priority over former members who have canceled their membership.
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward each other, the employees, and volunteers of TechGarage, and to work as a team. If a student exhibits unsatisfactory behavior or deportment, fails to abide by Tech Garage rules, or engages in conduct likely to endanger the welfare, safety, harmony, or good reputation of the TechGarage, all as determined in the sole discretion Management, STEM HQ may, without any liability to an affected person, suspend or terminate the student’s use privileges.

In consideration of Student being permitted to enjoy any membership privileges, Student and the undersigned Parent or Legal Guardian of Student (collectively, “Participant”) agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement and any rules that may be established from time to time by STEM HQ.
