Campaigning is at the forefront of Pride and, as in previous years, we are using the city's lamp post banner sites to spread LGBTQ+ campaign messages to the wider public.
In previous years we have highlighted some of the appalling hate crime statistics, and called out transphobia, biphobia, racism and homophobia. Read more here.
This year we are calling on community groups to share their messages, whether that be a campaign, a celebration or a statistic. We are also delighted to have partnered with yahoo to amplify those messages to a global audience.
Please complete the sections below to be included in the campaign.
Deadline is 5pm on Friday 10th June.
We need:
- your organisation's logo
- your text for the banner – can be a campaign message, a celebratory Pride quote, a hate crime stat or a call to action. Up to 15 words is good, any more and we will have to make the font size smaller. Please no swearing or obscenities!
- a short bio about your organisation to be listed on the Pride website and the yahoo LGBT pages
- your social links
You can see an example of the banner here - please note this is a dummy text version.
