The picture above is a perfect example of a landing that had just enough space, that we did not have to put the piano on its side to make the turn. There was EXACTLY 5 feet directly in front of the staircase. If this distance was shorter, It would have made this piano move VERY MORE difficult. For your piano move, Are there any 90 degree turns in the staircase or within 5 feet from the top like the picture below?
