Live & Learn offers an after school entrepreneurship program for grades K-5. Children in the program will be picked up from school and in good weather, walk to the town play ground for some down time. After a snack and homework, the kids will work on projects as part of the Junior Entrepreneurs Club, which includes a kid-run bakery and various products for sale (dog biscuits, candles, delicious side dishes, dips and sauces).
The kids donate meals and baked goods to the local seniors and public servants. The remaining profit from their efforts funds treat days, pizza parties and special purchases.
These Junior Entrepreneurs will be learning real-world business concepts while having squishy, messy fun together and engaging the community as independent thinkers and future entrepreneurs. The hours for the program are 2:45 to 6:00 pm.
