  • COSTUMES, HAIR, AND MAKEUP INFORMATION

Costumes: In general, we will be providing costumes for the show and asking cast members to provide specific costume pieces, underclothing, and shoes. We will share what specific items you need to provide at the all cast meeting.

Hair: We will provide hair products for the show. Since you were cast partially based on your look we ask cast members to NOT CUT OR CHANGE your hair after you are cast. If you do want to make any changes, contact the Costume, Hair and Makeup Director.

Makeup: We will provide makeup products for the show but if you have skin sensitivities you will need to let us know and possibly provide your own products.

    • You will be asked to upload a head-to-toe photo to this form. You can't submit the form until you've uploaded a photo, so please make sure you have a photo that fits the requirements below before you fill out the rest of the form.

    • You will need a measuring tape, pen, scale, and someone to help you. Measuring tapes can be purchased at Walmart, Dollar Store, or Hobby Lobby. If you would like to borrow measuring tape, contact us.

    • Measurements MUST be accurate or they will need to be redone. The measuring tape should never be pulled tight or too loose. All measurements should be rounded up to a whole number or ½ number.

    • When giving sizes (S, M, L, size 8) – they should indicate size for fitted clothes – NOT loose or tight.

    • Any questions can be sent to April Edwards, Costume, Hair, and Makeup Director at productions@dreamcitychurch.us

    1. Head: Measure the circumference of your head. Place the measuring tape around your head like a headband across your forehead.
    2. Neck: Measure the circumference of your neck. Place the measuring tape around your head like a choker.
    3. Chest: Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your bust/chest, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.
    4. Waist: Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the tape to circle your waist (sort of like a belt would) at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. (If you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline.) Don’t suck in your stomach, or you’ll get a false measurement.
    5. Hips: Measure the circumference of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks.
    6. Wrist: Measure the circumference of your wrist. Place the measuring tape around your wrist like a bracelet.
    7. Shoulders: Measure the length of your shoulder from one side to the other (shoulder bone to shoulder bone). The measuring tape should go over the back of the neck (like a dress jacket would).
    8. Neck to Floor: Measure the length from the base of your neck to the floor.
    9. Shoulder to Wrist: Measure the length from your shoulder bone to your wrist bone.
    10. Neck to Waist: Measure the length from the base of your neck to the middle of your back where your waist should be.
    11. Waist to Knee: Measure the length from your waist to right under your knee.
    12. Waist to Floor: Measure the length from your waist to the floor.
