The Ink.Academy welcomes all levels of students to join us. This question is a way for us to get to know you better as well as find out what your goals are for the class. Example: Areas you'd like to strengthen or improve... meet other calligraphy artists, network, etc.

The Ink.Academy welcomes you to bring family members with you on our international retreats. Students who are bringing guests need to purchase an appropriately-sized Private Room (either Double or Suite) as well as "Extra Guest" meal/shuttle packages (one per adult guest). If needed, please inquire about children's meal/shuttle package which will be offered soon.

LOCAL TRAVEL

Included in your retreat package will be a shuttle which will take you from the CATICLAN AIRPORT to the Ferry Terminal. From there, our hotel will bring you to BORACAY island on their boat.

AIR TRAVEL

If you are an international traveler you will wish to book your flight to Manila, Philippines. Then book an internal flight to CATICLAN airport. 

Philippino residents can simply meet us at the Caticlan Airport at the designated times (TBD) to catch the provided shuttle to the Crimson Resort on Boracay island.

 

 

INK.ACADEMY OFFERS TWO PAYMENT OPTIONS TO SECURE YOUR PLACE AT THE RETREAT.

• Two-part payment: This option allows you to place a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of registration to secure your place for this retreat.
  • The remaining 50% balance is due Friday, February 1st, 2019. Please see the instructions below (highlighted in green) on how to activate the two-part payment option.

 

• Payment in full: This option allows you to receive a 5% discount on the retreat package price. The single-payment option is considered your deposit and is non-refundable.

 

RETREAT PACKAGE PRICE 

What is included?

Pricing for each week of the retreat is an ALL INCLUSIVE package price. Included are the following:

• 7 nights, 8 days of resort accommodations at the Crimson Resort in Boracay, Station 0 (see options below)
• Daily breakfast
• Lunch and snacks (during instruction days)
• Welcome and Farewell dinners* at the resort (fine dining, bring something sassy!) 
• 4 dinners* off-site (Explore the Island Day you will choose your own dinner option)
• 4 full days and 1 partial day of instruction with either Barbara Calzolari or Anne Elser
• Worksheets and final project materials
• Access to all kinds of fun water activities, sports with equipment as well as an island-hopping tour (extra fees apply)
• Ground transportation from Caticlan Airport to Ferry Port Caticlan, and private boat to Crimson Resort (van from Kalibo Airport to Caticlan Airport available for an extra $50 each way, please inquire)

* NOTE: Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included. Cocktails, wine, beer, etc can be purchased at your expense.

 

Accommodation Details

Below you will choose your accommodations at the Crimson Resort at Station 0. The posted prices are variable—depending on your selection of hotel room (private, shared, etc).  Should you select a shared room with one or two roommates you may request a specific roommate or request that we assign one to you

Please be sure to read this section thoroughly. Those who do not follow the instructions as provided will incur additional fees to their remaining balance should you request a partial refund to make your payment a "two-part payment".
