Richie Unterberger
Author & Lecturer
There’s a pretty good argument that American rock ‘n’ roll is one of the more important contributions to Western music, and no one knows more about rock ‘n’ roll than Richie Unterberger—the author of 12 books, a teacher at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and College of Marin, a regular lecturer for the San Francisco Public Library system, and an overwhelming scholar with few equals. He has put together a special program on the marketing of the Beatles, San Francisco’s own Jefferson Airplane, and Bob Marley & The Wailers, and featuring Richie Unterberger’s keenly interesting commentary.
