  • FREE BUSES

    Capital E has secured limited regional funding to transport groups with over 40 people attending a Festival day from Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne, and Porirua.

  • FREE BUS TERMS + CONDITIONS

    • The free bus offer is available on a first come, first served basis for groups of over 40 people attending a Festival day, from Wellington, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne and Porirua.
    • Capital E will confirm your pick up point, bus number(s) and time of departure with you prior to your visit.
    • Number of people per bus is set by BUS COMPANY in accordance with legal safety requirements. Bus drivers will not depart the school or final venue pick up point until all classes assigned to them have boarded.
    • Venue drop off and pick up points are arranged by Capital E and Wellington City Council with safety in mind. Teachers may not request an alternative pick up or drop off point unless arranged in writing with Capital E well in advance of their Festival day.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION - GENERAL

    • A three show Festival experience is $21.00/student, and includes your full day of activities and the services of your own Festival Host. We allow one free adult ticket per 10 paid student tickets. Additional adults are $21.00/ticket. Children under the age of two on laps attend free of charge.
    • Capital E reserves the right to alter without notice any advertised schedule, artist or event.
    • We will endeavour to sit groups together but this may not always be possible.
    • Recording of performances (photography, video, sound or by any other means) is prohibited.
    • Buses will be arranged by Capital E to transport groups between their school/centre and Wellington CBD for weekday performances only. Where possible, we will discuss other forms of transport with schools outside the designated free bus areas.

  • BOOKING TERMS + CONDITIONS

    • Tickets for education groups can be reserved in 2018. Capital E will be in touch in early 2019 to confirm numbers, details and provide your invoice.
    • You will be invoiced for the total number confirmed, not the number attending on the day of your visit.
    • Your numbers must be confirmed by 22 February 2019. From this date you will be liable for the full booking amount stated on your booking confirmation. The full amount must be paid before the date of your visit.
    • Unconfirmed tickets may be released for sale if not confirmed by 22 February 2019.
    • Tickets are subject to availability and we are unable to guarantee exchanges.
    • Public ticket deals do not apply to education group bookings.
    • Late Bookings:
      • Bookings made after 22 February 2019 will be made where tickets are still available, and will be issued a full invoice and payment must be received before attending. Please ensure prompt paymetn to guarantee your booking.
    • Refund Policy
      • All refunds are at the discretion of Capital E and considered on a case-by-case basis.
    • Cancellation Fee
      • Cancellations made in 2019 will incur a 25% cancellation penalty fee. The penalty fee will be calculated from booking numbers submitted in the booking form.

  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION - MEDIA + IMAGES

    • Photos and videos will be taken by capital E throughout the Festival for archival and marketing purposes.
    • As per the Privacy Act 1993, it is generally lawful to take photos of people in public spaces; therefore, Capital E cannot be liable for photos or videos taken by members of the public while Fesitval groups are in public areas (e.g. walking between venues).
