Metropolitan Medical Foundation of Oregon (MMFO) believes that small grants can make a big difference. As a small foundation with limited assets and a commitment to our continued mission of giving, the Foundation must be selective in making grant awards. Projects should support the mission of MMFO.
Mission It is the mission of the Metropolitan Medical Foundation of Oregon to support activities which improve health education and the delivery of health care to the community.
Focus The focus of MMFO activities is built upon the ideals of Building Community for Health, Building Capacity for Resilience, Promoting Well-Being and Effective Advocacy for Community Care. The four focus areas provide structure and flexibility to systematically consider both the medical and non-medical determinants of health.
The Mini-Grant Program is designed to support small projects. Mini-Grants are not intended to contribute small amounts to larger budgets. Applicants may request up to $500, and total project budget should not exceed $3,000.
Mini-Grants are typically not awarded to any individual or organization in consecutive years.
- Applicants may request up to $500.
- Requests will be reviewed quarterly during MMFO Board Meetings.
- Mini-grant submission deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 each year.
